Letter from Joey Elias.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2nd Annual Joey Elias Charity Golf Classic will be held this coming MONDAY SEPTEMBER 15th 2008 at the beautiful Le Diamant Golf Club just 30 minutes north of Montreal.

Again this year our goal is to raise funds that will go towards bettering the lives of those living with Diabetes. As we have heard over the past year obesity is a growing problem in our country and with that comes an increase in the cases of Diabetes. We hope to top last year’s total, as the tournament grows bigger and hopefully more successful in the future. Our ultimate goal is to no longer have a fund raising tournament – meaning a cure has been found!

We hope you will join us on our special, fun filled day either by joining for a full day of food, golf and prizes – or by sponsoring a hole and/or donating prizes.

Our golf organizing committee is hard at work, ensuring that the day will be one of fun, great prizes and of course excellent meals provided by Le Diamant. Prizes already confirmed; a Westjet pass for 2, an authentic autographed Daniel Briere jersey, a Montreal Canadiens jersey signed by Hall of Fame coach Scotty Bowman, and many more.
